Mr. Yuzpe was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Sprott Resource Corp. in 2013. He has over 15 years of executive and financial management experience with public and private corporations. Over his career, Mr. Yuzpe has developed specific expertise in financings, restructurings, financial and internal reporting, strategic development and business planning, corporate governance, investor relations, regulatory compliance and treasury management. Prior to being appointed President and Chief Executive officer, Mr. Yuzpe served as the Chief Financial Officer of Sprott Resource Corp., is currently the chairman of One Earth Farms Corp., and a director of Long Run Exploration Ltd. Mr. Yuzpe has also been involved with Street Kids International, a charity focused on youth at risk, as the Treasurer, member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for more than 10 years. He was also a founding board member of Inroads to Agriculture Institute, an organization whose mission is to help Aboriginal people secure full time employment in the agricultural industry through training and employment support. Mr. Yuzpe holds a Bachelor of Science, Engineering (Mechanical) degree from Queen’s University along with the Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.) and a Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario. Mr. Yuzpe is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Mr. McCredie is President of Sylvite Financial Services Inc., Sylvite Insurance Services Barbados, which is a division of the Sylvite Group of Companies, a fully integrated agricultural materials-handling, transportation, logistics and financial services company operating throughout North America. Mr. McCredie has more than 25 years of experience in corporate, strategic management, entrepreneurial and banking environments. A graduate of the University of Guelph in Agricultural Business and Economics, he received his Professional Agrologist designation in 1985. He has held numerous professional and non-for-profit Board appointments.
Mr. Stronach is a Managing Director at Sprott Consulting and Sprott Resource Corp., and joined Sprott in 2009. Mr. Stronach evaluates and structures new investment opportunities, monitors existing investments, and advises Sprott Inc. and Sprott Resource Corp. subsidiary companies on strategy and operational matters. He serves on the Board of Directors of three of Sprott Resource Corp.’s subsidiaries, One Earth Farms Corp., One Earth Oil and Gas Inc. and Stonegate Agricom Ltd. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Stronach was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting) one of the world’s leading strategy consultancies. During his tenure there he focused on strategy development and implementation planning for business design and transformation, investment decisions, customer service initiatives, cost cutting, performance improvement, and strategic negotiations. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, along with a Masters of Science and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Queen’s University along with the Professional Engineering designation (P.Eng.).
Mr. Gould has a long history working within the Canadian agri-food business. He was the Chief Financial Officer of Ceres Global Ag Corp. from 2007 until March 31, 2014. He joined Front Street Capital in 2007 as Director, Agricultural Projects; in 2011 he became Managing Director, Agriculture & Private Equity. At Maple Leaf Foods Inc. he was Director of Mergers & Acquisitions (2007) and Business Analysis (2003–2007); at Maple Leaf Pork, he was Director of Customer Marketing (2002–2003). He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and is a Chartered Accountant.
Ms. Tessaro has over 15 years of senior leadership experience in strategy development, financial management, operational efficiencies and marketing. Her current position is Managing Director of EDI Performance Group and EDI Capital, a boutique real estate consulting group assisting clients with strategy and operational improvements, succession planning and exit strategies. Ms. Tessaro joined EDI in 2014 after returning from Hong Kong where she was Vice President, Altus Group. Prior to Altus Group, Ms. Tessaro was Chief Financial Officer for Laura Secord. Sitting on the executive committee, Ms. Tessaro was responsibilities for all finance and administration functions and led the company through a successful sale process and transitioned the business to new ownership in 2010. From 1999 to 2007, Ms. Tessaro was initially President of RFB, a food marketing company launching the Ready Meals category to the Canadian grocery industry and then President of Retail Ready Foods a wholesaler and distributor of fresh foods to the Ontario grocery industry. Ms. Tessaro holds a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business and Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Guelph.
